[Gotham] Secrets

[The final story in the Gotham series, with an original female lead. The story came from a dream the author had and has nothing to do with the TV series. It's all made up.]

Gotham City has a famous high school called Arkham. Arkham has existed since the city was founded and is famous throughout the whole city. There's one student who gives all the teachers and students a headache whenever his name comes up: Jerome.

Jerome smokes, drinks, dates, gets into fights, and does every kind of bad thing imaginable.

His backpack is packed to the brim with slippers, pajamas, and a hair dryer. It has everything except books.

People call him the "little demon king who rules the world."

One day, a Chinese transfer student joins his class. She's beautiful, with long, glossy black hair braided into a thick plait that hangs down her back past her butt.

She's not much of a talker. Every day, apart from eating and going to the bathroom, she sits quietly and studies.

Jerome thinks there's nothing interesting about someone like her.

He doesn't care at all whether she's pretty. He goes on minding his own business as usual.

But one day, he realizes that maybe she isn't as boring as she seems.

She even has quite a few little secrets.

So he launches a fierce pursuit.
