Overall drawbacks: It’s quite original, the tone shifts a little between the early and later parts, and a few characters act completely out of character.
Overall strengths: Once you get past the middle, it’s the perfect little snack to enjoy while eating, out on an excursion, or even in the bathroom. A quality treat for home or on the go.
The story is set in the Harry Potter world of 1970.
About the protagonist: The male lead transmigrates (the top?). He hasn’t read much of the original, has a terrible sense of direction, is rather lazy and somewhat cold-hearted, and has a thick skin. He enjoys making snide remarks and dislikes being cast as overly righteous, but he wouldn’t hurt anyone either. Every so often, he lets loose and pushes his limits... He’s petty with his enemies, and clumsy with the people he likes.
P.S. The protagonist is incredibly unlucky, on par with Conan. Every time he has his moment to shine, he gets struck by lightning afterward, so proceed with caution if you like wish fulfillment...
Writing style: I have an outline, but I write whatever comes to mind... There’s a bit of snark, and the protagonist isn’t all-powerful.
