Susu, a post-95 female university student majoring in film production who graduated in 2020, tragically died during the COVID-19 outbreak at the beginning of the year. To her surprise, after death she returned to the 1970s and became Su Suxu, the youngest daughter of Su Jianguo, captain of the Lotus Brigade in the Unity Commune. A film major with no strength to lift a chicken had transmigrated into the body of a local country girl.
Now, let us see how this “country girl who knows nothing about farming” survives in this era. After the college entrance exams were reinstated, the country girl made a leap to become a freshman at the Film Academy, studying alongside the Fifth Generation directors. Returning to her old line of work, she ushered in a new era for the film industry!
