Zhong Huanzhou is born with an immortal-demon body, drawing the attention of the Demon Realm. A graceful, otherworldly immortal rescues him from the demons, and he joins Xianben Sect as its second disciple. His master, however, goes into seclusion to recover from his injuries.
The senior disciple is a few years older and takes the young junior under his wing, managing everything from Zhong Huanzhou's meals and daily needs to his cultivation. He hasn't even had time to find a cultivation partner.
When their master emerges from seclusion, he returns from a trip down the mountain with another junior disciple. The newcomer is scheming, vicious, and fiercely protective. On his very first day, he beats up the fellow disciple who came looking for trouble, then pins Zhong Huanzhou down to apply medicine.
Zhong Huanzhou's cultivation advances by leaps and bounds, and he soon becomes a rising star in the immortal sects.
Everyone in the sects is betting on which of the three people who dote on him will become Zhong Huanzhou's cultivation partner.
The CP is the fellow disciple who came looking for trouble. Their interactions have temporarily been removed for certain reasons. I'll put them back if I think of something else to replace them with.
