Wild Geese Among the Clouds (Qi Gu | Fang Wu | Tie Zhui)

This synopsis seems to have gone off course: "Love? Chief Qi, don’t you think that’s a ridiculous word for people like us? How could I possibly love you? I hate you. I want to drink your blood, eat your flesh, and grind your bones to dust. But even so, I still can’t find salvation. I’m still in pain. Tell me, what should I do? What am I supposed to do? "Then don’t hate me. Love me, all right? Let’s wipe the slate clean and start over today. You won’t be Gu Xichao anymore, and I won’t be Qi Shaoshang. You can be a cloud drifting free, and I’ll be a wild crane. We’ll roam the world together, sharing life and death. How about it? "Share life and death? Roam the world? "That’s right! Share life and death! Roam the world! I’ll give up my principles, and you can give up your ambition to rule. We’ll be alone together, free and happy. How about it? "Is that possible? "With me here, it’s possible. Even if one day you want to drink my blood, eat my flesh, and grind my bones to dust, whether it’s now, tomorrow, the day after, or ten, twenty, sixty, or seventy years from now, you can do whatever you want. How about it?" "Actually, this is just a story about love and scheming. Everyone is plotting, yet no one understands that love isn’t something you can scheme your way into." Theme:
