(Modern) The King's Favorite Courtier

Please note: Set in a fictional modern society with a constitutional monarchy; mutually devoted couple, with the top in the lead.

Top: Zheng Lie, a scum top, an emperor top, selfish and cold-hearted, skilled in imperial intrigue.

Bottom: Li Su, a devoted bottom, a favored minister and powerful official.

There is a queen, an ambitious schemer, and a crown prince. Everyone is a villain.

This story is entirely fictional and is not based on real people!

Blurb:

Zheng Lie has never feared what the world thinks of him. He is ruthless and cruel, and killed his brother to take his sister-in-law. He takes whatever he wants, whether it's the throne or Li Su.

He uses threats, bribes, lies, and empty promises, and plays every angle. He frames powerful officials and takes control of the military. He manipulates parliament and launches a coup. But he is a good king.

Everyone knows Li Su is the king's favored minister. They met when they were young, faced life and death together, and are always seen side by side...

Li Su has the power to influence the political landscape, and even raised the crown prince at his own knee. Though he is a powerful official, he is utterly loyal to the king and always keeps himself humble...

I'm terrible at writing blurbs and can't go on. Basically, an ambitious emperor top takes power and rules the world with the support of his loyal-dog bottom.

Theme: The king and his favored minister support each other and rule the world.
