Help Shi Guanghua out; he’s a newcomer from outside the industry. Chu Yueyi: Sure, no problem. I’ll carry this noob to victory. Faced with her wooden, stone-faced partner, Chu Yueyi puts her all into playing up their pairing and setting the pace. She turns things around against all odds, stirring up a frenzy and making their ship go viral. Before long, she and Shi Guanghua have become the on-screen couple everyone online is crazy about! ※ By the time the dating show wraps, both their careers have reached new heights, but breaking up their on-screen pairing proves difficult. Shi Guanghua: Now that you’ve won me over, you’ve lost interest. Are you planning to seduce me and then abandon me? She has no interest in fighting over the wealthy family’s assets or getting involved in the leads’ romance. She just wants to practice astrology in peace and study Marxism-Leninism in her spare time. Original male lead: Are you going to fight me for the family fortune? Chu Qianli: No. You work, I get dividends. If I ever join the company, I’ll be a dog. Original female lead: Sweetie, what’s so great about men? Don’t be so rigid about gender. Chu Qianli: ...Big sis, you’re so hot I’m scared, but I’m afraid I just can’t swing that way. ※ Everyone knows the He family’s daughter doesn’t have the surname He. She never manages the company’s affairs, yet she’s a master of astrology and tarot, understands fate, and can predict the future with uncanny accuracy! “Old He, I’m in serious trouble. Please ask your daughter to read my fortune!” “Sorry, she just started university and isn’t home right now.” “...Oh? What’s she studying?” “Marxist philosophy.” “???” ※ Chu Qianli: I may be an expert in destiny, but I’m a committed Marxist. I’m absolutely not a fortune-teller. [A goofy, feel-good power fantasy.
