Since returning to China, Yu Wanwan, an unknown trainee just starting out in the entertainment industry, has been recommending Qin An to her coworkers every day. Qin An is a second- or third-tier celebrity who once went briefly viral online for her dancing. Yu Wanwan's daily refrain is: “My darling Qin An is so gorgeous, and her dancing is amazing. Why haven't you picked her yet? Come on, let me win you over!”
One day, her manager and sister-in-law, Sister Lin, finally couldn't take it anymore. “Wanwan, there's a new talent show coming up, and our company has been given a few spots. Would you be interested in joining?” Sister Lin deliberately paused for a second. When Yu Wanwan looked at her, she continued in an unhurried tone, “Your darling will be there too.”
“!!!”
Sister Lin looked away from Yu Wanwan's increasingly lovestruck face, thinking to herself: Yu Wanwan has a face that keeps strangers at arm's length, and she's always cultivated a cool, sexy image. So how does she manage to look so adorably silly every time she gets starstruck? “Wanwan, are you going or not?”
“I'm going!”
“There is a crack in everything, that's how the light gets in.”
“Qin An, would you be willing to become that one and only light?”
“More than anything.”

Setting: A talent show in the entertainment industry, loosely inspired by Chinese talent-show formats.
A note from the author, who loves these characters like a mother: A heads-up, this isn't a serious talent-show story. It's a fluffy little romance set against the backdrop of a competition. It's short, sweet throughout, and relatively mild.
Characters: An unknown trainee who is bent like a coil and doesn't realize she's into women, the submissive one; a gentle, androgynous, second- or third-tier has-been who gets turned gay, the dominant one.
Submissive: Yu Wanwan. Dominant: Qin An.
Yu Wanwan: Cool and aloof on the outside, a classic femme fatale beauty. In reality, she's adorably silly and sweet. She's trained in dance for years and can sing reasonably well. Her entry into the entertainment industry is just a passing interest. She has no formal training and holds a master's degree from overseas.
Qin An: Androgynous in style, with delicate features that aren't masculine. An all-rounder and ACE, she became a minor sensation through her dancing and made it into the second or third tier. She's been in the industry for five or six years. She's accepting by nature, with a gentle heart.
No real-life inspirations. The author loves these characters like a mother, so please move along if you want to argue.
Theme: A high-sugar, fluffy romance about two girls with completely different personalities growing together against the backdrop of a talent show.
To be honest, clicking on such a long paragraph makes people lose interest in reading.
It's so sweet. When will the author publish another sweeter book?
Why hasn't it been updated yet? I want to see it.
