But then he meets a female devil (crossed out: a powerful patron!)

Poor, hapless powerful patron Lu Xitang: Thanks, but no thanks. [Smiles]

Mini-scene 2:

Lu Xitang: I'm the best in the world, in martial arts, beauty, and immortality. I've got everything you could want. [Ding! The glittering treasure chest is now available!]

Du Zhong [looking himself over]: Uh... I think I've got a handsome face... [Mustering his courage] Woman, your love has arrived!

Lu Xitang: Bye, overconfident guy! [Smiles]

Mini-scene 3:

Lu Xitang: I've cultivated into an immortal! Bye, freeloading guy!

Du Zhong [as if struck by lightning]: I'm bawling my eyes out. My love is dead, boo-hoo-hoo...

Lu Xitang [appearing in a flash]: I'm back! It's been years. How have you been?

Du Zhong [seething with resentment]: Can immortals really just do whatever they want like this?
