Addicted to Keeping You in Check

Jin Lechi, known as a "woman killer," has always casually picked his way through a crowd of admirers, but his heart hasn't beaten in a long time.

Lan Xiaoya is the exception.

He's used to being in control of everything. The one thing he can't be sure of is whether she loves him.

*

She's skillfully tightening and loosening the strings around his heart, but in the end, she realizes that her own heart is just as much under his control.

Lan Xiaoya asks, "Mr. Jin, do you still remember the fireworks we watched back then?"

Jin Lechi says nothing.

But in his heart, his answer is: Of course. They've grown across my back, etched there by your teeth.

[Content Warnings]

1. At the beginning of the story, the male lead is a jerk, and the female lead makes quite a bold entrance, but you know how it is: it's all just appearances.

2. Neither lead is a virgin, but they are each other's one true love in every sense.
