I Got the Script of a Doomed Substitute

Filming has begun on the TV series A Peerless Tragic Romance. The script's supporting female character is stunningly beautiful and comes from a powerful family, yet she is hopelessly in love with the fake young lord and willingly becomes the female lead's substitute, a stumbling block on the leads' path to a tortured romance. Her ending is utterly miserable. The production team says, "With conditions like hers, why is she so obsessed with that fake young lord? Why keep clinging to that crooked tree? Aaaaaah!"

Then the award-winning actress Song Ruxu transmigrates into a character named "Song Ruxu," who has been handed the role of the substitute supporting female character. She calmly says, "I want to know that too." Song Ruxu, having transmigrated into the book, naturally has no intention of following the script. She kicks the male lead, who is trapped in painful indecision, to the curb, finds the story's biggest villain, He Xun, the real young lord, and says, "Your thigh is so thick and strong. You look perfect for me to cling to!"

At the time, He Xun is still a rebellious young trend-chaser. He says, "...Miss, I don't think you're quite right in the head."

Song Ruxu: "You're the miss. Your whole family are misses."

He Xun is the local bully of Fuyuan Town. He hunts tigers in the mountains, catches fish in the river, and gets into fights at the academy. There isn't a teacher he can't drive to the brink of a stroke. Then one day, a teacher really does die, and He Xun becomes the prime suspect. Just as Madam He is about to burst out of her coffin, a mysterious young woman stands against all odds, turns the tide, and rescues He Xun from a desperate situation.

At first, Song Ruxu does whatever he says, while he finds one way after another to tease her, making her eyes turn red and leaving her looking wronged every time. Later, Song Ruxu couldn't care less about him, and he panics. Day after day, he follows at her heels, doing everything he can to please her, wagging his tail like an exuberant puppy.
