My years at a technical secondary school are a part of my life I still can't forget. So many joys and sorrows from that time still fill my mind. There are plenty of novels set on university campuses, but seemingly very few about technical secondary schools. I never went to university, though I always wished I had. But I can't simply dress up this novel's setting as a university campus; that would be a different kind of life and a different kind of study. Without experiencing both firsthand, it's impossible to truly understand how those two campus lives differ. Perhaps life at a technical secondary school is more genuine. The feelings may be immature, but the words come straight from the heart. Teenagers in the bloom of youth may offer us more funny stories about emotions, sexual fantasies, and all sorts of other things. These stories can give teens their age a chance to let go, while helping friends who once experienced life at a technical secondary school look back on the innocent confusion of their youth.
