(A story about a dumb husky getting devoured by a cunning little fox.)

Word has it in the capital that Liu Ran, the only son of the Liu family, is a frivolous playboy. Ever since he came out publicly, his lovers have changed as often as his clothes, and his private life is a complete mess.

After hearing the rumors, Liu Ran pouted miserably against the window of his sweetheart's house, calling him "darling" and "love of my life" over and over as he tearfully begged the person inside to open the window.

The person inside hugged a cat plushie, eyes red as he cried and asked, "Just how many darlings do you have?"

Liu Ran was frantic. He couldn't stand seeing his beloved cry. In the blink of an eye, he grabbed his own ears and dropped to his knees with a thud.

"I swear, you're really my only darling."

"Really, I'm the only one?"

"Really, you're the only one QAQ"

He couldn't help being handsome; his parents gave him that face. He was clearly saving himself for the one he loved.

Lin Ruan first noticed Liu Ran at his thirteenth birthday party.

After cutting the birthday cake, he was heading back to his room to open his presents. As he passed the hallway, he saw a handsome, frivolous-looking boy hiding behind a tree, holding two handfuls of leaves and sneaking glances at him. The boy's cheeks were red as ripe tomatoes.

He likes me, doesn't he? Lin Ruan thought smugly. He walked over, tilted his head, and put on a harmless smile.

"Are you going to give me a birthday present, big brother?"

The other boy froze, clearly having prepared nothing at all.

Lin Ruan had only meant to tease him. He never thought the boy would actually come up with a present. But just as Lin Ruan turned to leave, the boy grabbed the hem of his clothes.

"This is your present!" The boy, a head taller than him, stammered as he put his hand in Lin Ruan's.

[Happy birthday. I'm giving myself to you.]
