My Rival, You're Quite the Wild One

Wang Chengye is down on his luck: divorced with a kid, and now out of a job. He thought he’d finally found a decent job at last... only to discover that his old nemesis had hired him as the company’s male secretary? Fine, whatever. A real man can bend without breaking. He’d already prepared himself to be bullied by his old rival... but is this really what you call “bullying”? He eyed the bastard who spent every day thinking about his ass. Wang Chengye was conflicted. Damn it, could he not get a little peace and quiet for once? The pursued is straight. Completely straight; he and his ex-wife parted amicably because they were incompatible. Nothing inappropriate happens. Wang Chengye planned to quit and run off after the New Year. But the bastard won his kid over with sweet treats and gifts, until the little one held out his arms and begged to be picked up, calling, “Second Daddy, hold me!” “...” The bastard had actually gone after his son. Wang Chengye scooped up his kid and grabbed his things, ready to flee, but the man who was even gayer than a spiral incense coil blocked him at the company entrance. “Secretary Wang, the little guy already calls me Dad. What are you going to call me?” “...” Wang Chengye rolled his eyes. “I’m your goddamn grandpa!” Then he grabbed his suitcase and bolted. A bickering couple. The pursuer has had a crush on the pursued for many, many years, and is deeply devoted to him. A funny, heartfelt story (what even is this). Here’s to this godforsaken life. Theme: The protagonist is incredibly unlucky (.)
