[Crossover] Every Day, One More Time: Goodbye, Dazai

The Special Abilities Division likes sending people undercover, so I was sent to the Port Mafia, whose boss had just changed, to work undercover. After a few years, my superior, Sakaguchi Ango, showed up, and I felt a little more at ease. Then a few more years passed, and my miserable life officially began. The boss I reported to on paper assigned me to work under Dazai. From then on, my life was filled with assassinations, tests, and traps. I could even wake up in the middle of the night and find my dear superior, Mr. Dazai, standing beside my bed, with the poor lock he had picked lying behind him. Or, halfway through a mission, I’d see him jump into the sea and be forced to fish him out, only to be the one who came down with a fever and a cold. So whenever Dazai is around, my life is full of misfortune. Then, when Dazai turned eighteen, my superior’s and his mutual friend, Oda Sakunosuke, died. Dazai defected, and my undercover assignment came to an end. I quit, too. A few days before my resignation was approved, I accompanied Director Taneda to meet Dazai. Dazai (spotting his former subordinate): Ah, long time no see! Me (turning away): Blech! Dazai: ??? I’m not your superior anymore, so you don’t have to pretend? A few friendly reminders: 1. The pairing might be Dazai. This is probably a romance between Dazai and a protagonist with Dazai-triggered stress disorder. 2. It might be a comedy. My hands have a mind of their own. 3. There might be a groveling arc. 4. This story is unlucky. 5. Updates whenever inspiration strikes. Theme: Why overthink it when they’re just falling in love?
