A Chun, known as a monster, was eleven years old. Last spring, his only family, his grandfather, died of illness. A Chun, who had always been bullied by the children in town, became an orphan.
The most prominent family in town was the Lu family. Lu Yongning was the Lu family's grandson, known as Seventh Young Master Lu. At thirteen, he was the only son of the Lu family's third branch. Orphaned at a young age, he was adopted by Madam Ji, the Lu family's infamous eldest daughter. Though the family was wealthy, Lu Yongning was bullied by his siblings and humiliated by his aunt from childhood.
Years later, when the two met again, people in town began turning up dead one after another. The culprit seemed inhuman, and rumors ran rampant. As everyone lived in fear, a monk claimed that a demon was lurking in town, stirring up a storm throughout the city.
