Can I Touch Your Tail?

Pre-release: How Can a Dragon Not Be a Healing Type?! is now underway. The blurb is at the bottom.

Blurb:

In the interstellar era, humanity has evolved mental powers and more powerful beast forms.

He Ji is injured on a mission. His mental powers are unstable, and he cannot maintain his human form, so he recovers in his school dormitory in the form of a white wolf, eyes closed as he rests.

His roommate comes back and sees him. His expression changes, and vines emerge uncontrollably.

They are both Alphas and prominent figures on campus, often compared to each other in all sorts of ways.

Even though they share a dorm room, their relationship isn't particularly bad, but they are no more than acquaintances.

Seeing this, He Ji narrows his eyes. Looking for a fight?

The pale vines approach, but He Ji hears them ask in a voice barely concealing their excitement, "Can I touch your tail?"

He Ji: "???"

Not long after, pheromone matching begins.

Lin Jiangan runs over excitedly, clutching a folder. "We're a 100% match!"

He Ji: "?"

He understands the reasoning, but they're both Alphas... how could they have a match score?

He Ji hesitates. "An Alpha can't be matched with another Alpha, can they?"

Lin Jiangan nods. "I entered both our ID numbers, and the System really did say we couldn't be matched. Then I took out the new light-energy superparticle cannon issued to our squad, and the brain terminal immediately loaded the results. It says we're made for each other!"

He Ji: "..."

You've really outdone yourself.

[Pheromone Matching System: Just date already, you two. Who could possibly compete with you?]

*This won't be very long, just 100,000 to 200,000 words of sweetness.

*Scheduled updates at 12:00 through the drafting system. I'll post a leave notice in advance if anything comes up.

Pre-release: How Can a Dragon Not Be a Healing Type?! [Raising a child + adorable pet + heartwarming family story]

Blurb:

Dragons have an innate advantage in fights, and the species is famous for its combative nature and short temper.

But even the mighty dragons have a fatal weakness.

Their agitated mental powers cannot be healed by conventional means.

Once their mental powers fall into disarray, it marks the beginning of a dragon's demise.

They lose awareness and attack everyone around them indiscriminately.

Unwilling to hurt others, dragons use the brief moments of clarity they have to slowly crush their own mental sea and tear off their scales, feeling the power inside them drain away until they finally die.

When Wen Ying opens his eyes, he finds himself transformed into a dragon, and not just any dragon, but a hatchling that has only just emerged from its egg.

Looking at the disorderly room, the tea set shattered across the floor, and the table missing a leg for no apparent reason, Wen Ying senses a mental-power vortex raging through the room like a hurricane. He turns his gaze to the man inside.

The man's eyes are bloodred, and his handsome face is streaked with tiny cuts from his mental powers.

The terrifying, blade-sharp mental power is just about to cut through his mental sea when a cool sensation suddenly touches his fingertip. In an instant, the howling mental power stills.

The newly hatched dragon gazes at him without blinking, its tail curled around his fingertip. As spiritual energy flows, it soothes his agitation.

Wen Ying tilts his head and smiles. "Aw!"

The dragons, trapped in despair and awaiting the darkness that would consume them, leading to corruption and death, find their warm ray of hope.

Theme: As you walk the road ahead, as long as you hold on to hope, you will one day reunite with the dreams you had when you were young.
