Not of My Kind [Insectoid]

Ye Jiayan was the God of War of the Alliance, a beacon on Xu Haochu's path forward. But he fell in the all-out war against the Zerg, sleeping forever on the battlefield where he had spent the longest, protecting that land. Xu Haochu buried his heart with him in the grave. Xu Haochu never thought he'd see him again, let alone see a Ye Jiayan who was a Zerg. Was it a faked death, or... rebirth? Ye Jiayan died when a blade pierced his body and his consciousness sank into chaos. But he had protected the land behind him with his own body. He had no regrets in life, and his death was fitting. He never thought he would get another chance, this time as a female Zerg. Deep down, he was still human. But could the people he wanted to protect accept him as an outsider? After all, those who are not of our kind must have different hearts. The Zerg will have a new setting. No arthropods or squishy, wriggling creatures. Don't ask. The author is scared. Xu Haochu is the top. I suddenly wanted to write a Zerg story! A cool, chaste top x a cool, chaste, seductive bottom. A sweet story where they dote on each other. Theme: A political marriage for the peace of the entire universe
