One day, the Armed Detective Agency received a strange request.
A couple asked the agency to look after their child, who had mild autism.
The agency had originally planned to turn them down, but the payment they offered was simply too high.
Kunikida silently shed tears of poverty.
Soon after, the child began acting stranger and stranger.
While Kunikida was beating up Dazai as usual, the child gently tugged on his sleeve and said, "Dazai is still a child."
Later, he went with Nakajima Atsushi to fish Dazai out of the water, then ran off the moment he ran into Nakahara Chuuya on the street.
Later still, when criminals broke into the agency, he casually told them to get lost, and they all fled in terror.
Edogawa put on his black-rimmed glasses and looked at the child. Just as he had hoped, the child delivered the most classic line:
"I see!"

This is simply a story about a child who can communicate with monsters and spirits, but is shunned by his friends because he is too blunt.
The timeline in the blurb is a little off. He can control monsters later on.
