Forgive Me, Eunuch Lord

Qin Hezong, the eunuch commander of the Western Depot, was thrown into prison over his alleged involvement in the Minister of Revenue's embezzlement case.

His cell was separated from Su Lianheng, a notorious fixture in the imperial prison, by only a thin wall.

That very night, Su Lianheng sang at the top of his lungs until dawn: "The eunuch's got a migraine, the eunuch's got a migraine. He says the silver isn't heavy enough. Eunuch, eunuch, eunuch..."

Qin Hezong vowed that once he got out, he would make Su Lianheng suffer every torture under the sun.

Half a month later, an imperial edict arrived, and Su Lianheng showed up at the Western Depot with all his belongings.

"Fancy meeting you here, sir!"

"What a coincidence. I specifically asked His Majesty for a pillar of talent like you, Lord Su." The man held a teacup, his tone dark and inscrutable, like a venomous snake flicking its vivid tongue.

Su Lianheng: ...I'm done for!

Su Lianheng, whose outspokenness brings trouble, devoted to serving his country and its people X Qin Hezong, all-powerful and vengeful

Happy ending. No steamy scenes, for reasons related to the male lead's profession.
