After Ruan Ying died, she entered an escape game full of bizarre supernatural events, all kinds of corrupted bosses, and players with malicious intentions...
A delicate young woman who couldn't even lift a finger, Ruan Ying could only rely on her pretty face and sweet voice to get by.
At midnight, a ghost knocked on the door.
Ruan Ying: Good night, muah. Go to sleep, or you'll get dark circles.
Vengeful spirit: ?
A headless ghost appeared in the washroom mirror.
Ruan Ying: Want some hand cream and body lotion? You don't have a face anymore, so you should take extra good care of the skin you have left.
Headless ghost: ?
Her teammates: ...I think I might be playing some wholesome children's game.
Ruan Ying's usual routine in the game was to slack off and wait to die, because she had no attachment to this world.
Until, in one game, she met an NPC who cherished her, loved her, and indulged her in everything. He gave her more affection and warmth than anyone else in her life... Then, at the very last moment of the game, he eliminated her and whispered in her ear, "I'm a player."
Ruan Ying: ...
Forget waiting to die. First, she was going to kill that bastard!

One day, Cui Ying, daughter of the Demon Cult's leader, opened her eyes and discovered she had been kidnapped.
Her kidnapper was none other than Lian Huai, the legendary number-one swordsman of the martial world, famed for his aloof integrity and peerless elegance...
At first, she kept up a verbal front, stayed on her guard, and always locked the doors and windows before going to sleep.
Later, every night she would knock on his door, her robes fluttering and her eyes glimmering, holding a picture book about a fox and a scholar. "The night is long. Why don't you keep me company and read for a while, young master?"
Cui Ying had been cold-hearted and vicious by nature since birth, her moods impossible to predict. If she hadn't wanted the Lotus Jade from the Lian family, she wouldn't have seized this chance to stay by his side.
But later, she discovered that teasing Young Master Lian was far more appealing than the Lotus Jade.

In his ten years roaming the martial world, Lian Huai had always acted with a clear conscience and never once been defeated.
But in his eleventh year, forced by a strange poison, he kidnapped Cui Ying, the Demon Cult's heiress. From then on, his conscience was no longer clear, and from then on, he would always lose to one person.

A little scene
On their wedding night, Cui Ying brought out a pair of parasitic Gu worms.
"I don't trust anyone. If you want to be my husband, I'll put the female worm in my body and the male one in yours. If you ever change your heart, the male worm will devour your heart and kill you."
Lian Huai smiled faintly. "Your constitution is weak. The Gu may harm your circulation. Why not give me a poison pill instead, and provide an antidote each year to temporarily suppress its effects?"
Cui Ying smiled sweetly. "That works too."
Even when they were old and gray, she never told him that the pills she gave him each year were nothing more than ordinary qi-restoring pills.
Demoness of the Demon Cult x Young Hero of the Righteous Path
Please favorite the upcoming story, Heavy Fire!
Cui Ying once loved someone. To save him, she was locked in the Demon Cult's Zijin Pavilion, where she suffered humiliation and every kind of torture. In the end, she was burned for eighty-one days by Heavy Fire inside a divine cauldron. Everyone thought she was dead, but she had actually refined the Heavy Fire, which swept through Zijin Pavilion and propelled her to the top of the martial world.
However, when she returned to the world, she discovered that the man who had once promised to marry her had long since betrayed his word and fallen in love with the legitimate younger sister of Lian Huai, the most famous head of the Lian family.
On their wedding day, she set the wedding hall ablaze with Heavy Fire. Just as she was about to kill the pair, Lian Huai returned.
Cui Ying had never considered making peace. She only hated that Lian Huai's martial arts were so powerful that she couldn't kill him, at least for now.
So she set traps for him, grievously wounded him several times, and even imprisoned him. Sometimes he managed to capture her instead, and so their struggle continued without end. Yet Lian Huai never seemed to resent her. On the contrary, he treated her wonderfully. Even when she kept him under house arrest, he would drink tea and play chess with her, play the zither to soothe her to sleep, and never seemed the least bit reluctant. When she was defeated, he could never bring himself to hurt her, treating her like an honored guest instead. At first, Cui Ying only sneered, but as time passed, an indescribable sadness took root in her heart.
He could do all this for his younger sister, and set aside his pride to please Cui Ying in order to make amends for a mistake he hadn't even made... Clearly, he was a man who valued loyalty. If she had met him in the past, she wouldn't have ended up in such a state.
"You don't have to do this. I have to kill your sister and that wretch."
"I've already developed a heart demon. Until they die, I won't be able to break through."
Lian Huai gazed at her for a while. His eyes were as calm and gentle as ever, but there was something else in them that she couldn't understand.
"A heart demon born of Heavy Fire offers no middle ground. Either life or death. To resolve yours, they must die, or he must come back to you?"
Cui Ying said nothing.
"I understand."
He turned away and spoke quietly.
"I can use magic to make myself look like him, stay by your side, love and cherish you. Whatever your ideal husband is like, I'll become that, until the day your heart demon is gone."
Cui Ying froze.
The head of the Lian family was a genius admired by all, a bright moon beyond the reach of every young lady from the great clans. Someone like him was actually willing to lower himself and take on another man's appearance to be with her.
"Would that work?"
In that moment, as if bewitched, she agreed.
Later, her heart demon was gone, but he had developed one of his own.
Only later did he learn that the jade bangle she always wore could see the true nature of all things. So, to her, he had always looked like himself.
[The little scene where being cheeky is so much fun]
"I heard you developed a heart demon after I kissed you that day?" Cui Ying sighed, then broke into a smile. "That's easy to fix. It's just because you haven't been close with women before. A few more kisses and your heart demon will be gone."
Lian Huai: ...
A few days later.
"I heard your heart demon flared up again after I held you while we slept that night? That's easy to fix too. Sleep together for a few more nights and you'll get used to it. Are you coming to my room tonight, or should I go to yours?"
Lian Huai: ...
A few more days passed.
"I heard that yesterday we were undressed..."
Remembering their reckless night, Lian Huai finally couldn't help interrupting her.
"Why don't we just get married?"
If he let her hear about one more thing, he'd have to abandon the heartless path and start cultivating the path of abstinence instead.
Theme: Going from wanting nothing to do with life to rediscovering, affirming, and loving oneself.
It is really well written, with many unexpected reversals, and a sense that there is a lot of overlapping information but in an orderly manner. The development of the main line and the sub-line is also very logically consistent. The author's anti-routine and ingenuity, including his conception, are all surprising! Some of the analysis on psychology and school violence, including the contradiction between good and evil in human nature, feels like the author has put in a lot of effort. Also, there are obviously some spooky places that will scare me, but I will still be healed by some weird and cute things in it, haha. It feels like the next level in the infinite flow novels I have read, haha. (Praise fiercely) Keep up the good work, Cowboy Candy! (I've read countless articles, and it's rare to have such a hearty feeling after reading them. I couldn't help but write a long review in JJ for the first time, haha) I couldn't help but post the five-star review again in the comment area. Haha, I'm really happy to see high-quality and favorite articles!
This book is quite good. Good people will be rewarded in the end. Pei Mo and Ruan Ying should be good to each other.
This is the legendary saying of treating suffering as a treasure and suffering for the sake of suffering.
Help, I tied it in one breath. I really like this book!
One hundred percent ~ Hahahaha~ Spread the flowers
Press the claws~sprinkle flowers~
Ok ok ok ok
There is something going on in the third dimension today, so I may update it later~ If it's too late, I'll update it together tomorrow~ Show your thoughts to the little angel! ! _(:з∠)_
The foreshadowing of Look at the Stars is great!
I thought there would be a cruel ending. Just... Reward them? Nerve
