Global Nightmare

[Screenshot saved for the record, no idea theft!]

After Lin Mian falls asleep, he enters another world, one filled with zombies.

After this goes on for a week, people all over the world start entering that world in their dreams.

If someone is killed in a dream, they disappear in reality.

People don't remember anything that happens in their dreams, but Lin Mian remembers every detail.

Everyone has a Nightmare Artifact, which absorbs Nightmare Power and turns it into a weapon.

Lin Mian always thought his Nightmare Artifact would be amazing and insanely powerful, but reality hit him completely unexpectedly.

His goofball roommates laughed so hard they fell into the splits.

They thought it was useless, but it turned out to be a winner!

When Lin Mian is surrounded by a horde of level-one zombies, he feels weak in the knees and utterly drained.

Lin Mian trembles. "I have a feeling there's a level-two zombie here, too."

As soon as he finishes speaking, a level-two zombie appears.

His roommates are horrified. "Stop thinking! Don't even imagine it!"

They finally kill the level-two zombie, only for an even more powerful Destroyer Zombie to appear.

Everyone looks at Lin Mian.

Lin Mian: ...

Lin Mian: "It wasn't me. I wasn't thinking about anything."

His roommates are skeptical. "Then what were you thinking about?"

Lin Mian looks at the stern young man fighting the Destroyer. "I was thinking, what's the point of this stupid Nightmare Artifact? If it had any guts, it would give each of us a Nightmare Beast! I want to raise the fiercest, most vicious Nightmare Beasts in the world!"

His roommates: "Is Brother Li even in your field of vision?"

Lin Mian: "Brother Li is number one in the world, and I'm number two. Brother Li raises Taotie, and I'll raise Qiongqi."

His roommates: ...

His roommates roar, "Brother Li! Release Taotie!"

The young man is driven to the brink of despair. Suddenly, the Nightmare Artifact in his hand transforms, and a chubby little creature drops to the ground. With a single "Grrp," it swallows the Destroyer Zombie whole.

Lin Mian: ...

His roommates: ...

The stern, battle-hardened man walks back and rubs Lin Mian's head. "Clear your head and think of something useful, like you just did."
