After Long Aotian Stole My Luck

Qing Ling was born into a humble family, but she was gifted and clever, making a name for herself at a young age. She read stars and inspected homes for clients, and her services were worth a fortune. She was on the verge of inheriting the Xuan Association and becoming its chief Celestial Master when she unexpectedly awakened a golden finger: she could see scrolling comments. [This is when the second antagonist turns evil, right?] Qing Ling: ??? Qing Ling: What's a second antagonist? Through the comments, Qing Ling learns that she's merely a supporting character in a novel about the occult. To boost the male lead's fortune, the System steals hers outright, leaving her plagued by bad luck until she's ambushed and killed. After her death, Lu Huaijin turns evil. His ten years of secretly loving her drive him to nearly crush the male lead to death. But the male lead is protected by a System and narrowly escapes death. Qing Ling: He got away even after all that? Is my fortune too powerful, or are you really that useless, Lu Huaijin? - Guided by the comments, Qing Ling not only easily avoids the fatal disaster laid out in the original plot, but also tracks down the male lead, slaps him in the face, and takes back her fortune. Just as the comments expect her to marry the antagonist, Qing Ling gets engaged to the antagonist's cousin at lightning speed. In response to the comments' protests, Qing Ling says: There's no rule that says you have to marry someone just because they have a crush on you. Besides, Lu Huaijin becomes an antagonist in the original novel, which shows he's got a volatile personality and wouldn't make a good husband or father. Then the comments make a surprising discovery: Her frail, sickly fiance is actually the original novel's biggest antagonist, utterly deranged, obsessed, and fanatical, spending every day with poison bugs and corpses. He not only forces the male lead to kneel and apologize to her corpse, but also carries her coffin everywhere, trying to "bring her back to life." At the end of the novel, after losing to the male lead, he chooses to hold Qing Ling and burn himself to death. Qing Ling: He's even more volatile than Lu Huaijin. I should call off this engagement. Theme: Stand on your own feet and respect others as you respect yourself
