No, all of Bruce's real girlfriends would know his true identity if they were not dead. There are actually other vigilantes or superpowers operating in Gotham, but the publications are different so it feels like the others are not there. But in fact, when he broke his back, he asked the Angel of Death to act as Batman for him, but later he became insane, so Bruce stepped up his training to get the cape back. It's true that fans exaggerate Batman's loneliness, but in reality, just look at the children he accepts. The children from n52 were almost fifteen years old, an age when teenagers were immature, but he adopted and accepted those children. There really is always someone by his side, but they usually die quickly or grow up and run away. The sense of territoriality is just that he doesn't want people who don't know him to wander into Gotham and mess up the situation or lose their lives.
