What does it mean to get a Good Person Card?
They say it originated when a lonely man confessed his feelings to a girl he liked, only to be gently turned down with the words, “You're a good person, but we can't be together.” Since then, “You're a good person” has become a classic way to reject someone. To “get a Good Person Card” means that the person you like has rejected you.

Tanaka Kai, whose name sounds very Japanese, was studying in Japan when she unexpectedly died and ended up in the Soul Society a hundred years ago. Thus began her cheerful journey of collecting and handing out Good Person Cards.

Really, it's a story about a shut-in fighting evil forces in the Soul Society and the living world. Shut-in Kai won't give in to evil, but if the forces of evil are too powerful, giving in a little is fine, too. The people closest to her are a pervert, a freak, and a thug.
