Inspired by: Flipping through the Classic of Mountains and Seas and seeing all kinds of strange creatures, I can't help wondering if this animal's meat would be crunchy, or exceptionally chewy. It could be stir-fried, steamed, or braised. I have a soft spot for Sichuan cuisine. Inspired by the quacking from the zoo.

Protagonist: Bai Ze, a food-loving mythical beast and the last Bai Ze in the world.

I work as a chef in the human world, I work as a personal shopper in the human world, and I moonlight as a ghost hunter in the human world. My greatest wish is for world peace, so my wife will have time to keep me company.

Bai Ze: I don't know why these humans treat my food diary like some kind of strange novel. I flip through the Classic of Mountains and Seas, completely baffled. It's all food in here, all things I've painstakingly found myself, one step at a time.

Bai Ze is a naturally divine beast who understands all things and knows their past and present forms. (That's because she's a foodie.) She's the founder of all demon hunters, born with the ability to exorcise demons, drive out evil spirits, hunt ghosts, and set up arrays. She passes down the Strange Tales.
