High God, You Have No Shame

He ascended to immortality and faced the lightning tribulation. But when he awoke from it, he discovered that the stone stele that guarded the sea had stolen his face out of greed for his beauty and descended to the mortal world. From then on, he and the other High God became the only two faceless immortals in the heavens. That face always got him into trouble. So what if he had no face? He could put up with it. But the old Emperor of Heaven couldn't. That face was what got him out of bed for court each day. He forced him to descend to the mortal world and get it back. Fine, he'd go after his face. But then the Emperor said he couldn't interfere with the mortal world's order and sealed away all his magical powers. Turns out even immortals can have a rough time when they descend to earth. He was willing to go without a face. Wasn't that enough? * * * A High God who carries himself with dignity but specializes in low-class antics... A haughty, shameless High God x a stone spirit with a cold face and a wicked sense of humor “High God, shouldn't you at least have some self-respect?” “No, thanks. I've been without a face for hundreds of years. I'm used to it.” Theme: Love knows no species
