[The King's Avatar] Dust on the Road

Also known as The Immortal Who Just Wants to Tease Birds and Grow Flowers Falls for a Certain Scene in Glory, Can We Please Talk Normally, and The Swordsman Who Never Fought in an Arena Match but Beat One Autumn Leaf in Their First Encounter

☆

At Nanqi No. 3 Middle School, everyone agreed there was one oddball: He Ye.

She teased birds, admired flowers, picked tea, made medicine, composed poetry, and wrote essays. In the modern world, she lived like someone who had transmigrated from another era, sticking out like a sore thumb.

But what left everyone dumbfounded was that this living immortal had recently fallen in love with Glory, the new game that had countless students losing their minds.

"You've got to be kidding..." was what everyone who knew her thought.

[One Autumn Leaf]: Hey, you're that swordsman who hasn't fought in an arena match, but supposedly has amazing skills?

The swordsman called "Moshang Chen" stood calmly amid a wash of springtime color, aloof from the world. He Ye furrowed her brow, shook out her sleeve, and fell silent for a moment before tapping out a few words.

[Moshang Chen]: You flatter me, but it is true that I have yet to participate in arena matches or the like.

[Autumn Wood Su]: Hey, man... Why do you talk like you're some old-time scholar?

[Moshang Chen]: I have not earned a degree, so I dare not claim the title of scholar.

"You lost? Hahaha, Ye Qiu, you've finally had your day! Good thing this wasn't an arena match, or your win rate... Tsk, tsk."

Autumn Wood Su was astonished that Ye Qiu had lost his first match, but he was also delighted to enjoy the spectacle.

"Well played... I was rude when we first met. Please forgive me." Moshang Chen gave him a fist-and-palm salute.

[One Autumn Leaf]: Seriously, can't we just talk normally?

Much later,

[Lord Grim]: Seriously, would you consider being my wife?

☆ A short skit:

"This team is not to be underestimated. Lord Grim is leading them!"

"Hm?" He Ye paused. The words came naturally. "Wang Buliuxing blooms in April. Its flowers are yellow and purple, growing along the stem in clusters like cabbage seeds, and resembling wild sow-thistle. It's bitter and neutral in nature. It affects the liver and stomach meridians, promotes blood circulation and menstruation, and treats lactation problems and abscesses."

"..."
