[Dream of the Red Chamber] Escape from the Grand View Garden

[Blurb] Years later, Xichun leaves the gates of Xijing City with an iron pot and wooden stick on her back, carrying thirteen-spice seasoning and camphor powder. The damp, gentle spring breeze brushes over her gleaming bald head. Looking back at the still-bustling capital, she will surely remember that early spring, when the ice was just beginning to melt and the weather swung between warm and cold. - That was where every story began, and where hers began, too. Theme: Critique feudal society and its institutions, and stand on your own two feet.
