My new sweet historical romance, The Jianghu's Cannon Fodder Never Admits Defeat, is now in progress. Please add it to your favorites.
Blurb:
Lin Ran may be the first person to wake up after being splashed with bottled water upon transmigrating into a book.
Remembering that she'd roasted the trashy novel's author the night before, Lin Ran figured there was no mystery about it. This was karma!
But faced with the male lead, whose attempt to catch his partner cheating had failed, Lin Ran had been working overtime for half a month and was in no mood to be nice.
"Don't think I won't roast you just because you look like Dicky Cheung with hair!"
Having left the real world behind, Lin Ran let herself go. Unfortunately, before she could even start acting up, she got entangled with the Plot-Fixing System.
System notification: To change the original plot, the supporting female character must:
1. Lead her academically hopeless younger brother onto the path of becoming a top student.
2. Stop the male and female leads from falling in love, thereby changing the tragic ending.
Thinking of the original plot, where the vicious supporting female character got fat and was forced to marry a middle-aged nouveau riche with a face as black as coal, Lin Ran chose to give in.
Meanwhile, the System also restricted her habit of roasting people.
System setting added:
Every morning, praise the main characters of the story when you wake up. Otherwise, your heart will race, and you'll join the ranks of cannon fodder.
So every day, Lin Ran would tell the male lead expressionlessly, "Jiang Nanyi, you're amazing!"
Jiang Nanyi never took it seriously, until one night when he did something naughty.
The next morning, propping his head up with one hand, he looked contentedly at Lin Ran beside him in bed. Smiling, he said, "Ranran, say that again."
* A sweet story, 1v1. The female lead isn't mean-hearted. She likes roasting people at first, but most of the time she's either praising them or on her way to do so.
Theme: Don't get angry. A calm mindset helps solve problems better.
The idea is pretty good. It's just that the writing style is a bit... It feels a bit off-kilter when it comes to connection. Maybe I can just write more and practice my writing skills. Come on!
A new book is opening next door~ A sweet book about ancient sayings and a serious zombie apocalypse. If you are interested, you can check it out.
