I Love You Alongside the Rising Sun

Xia Minglian always knew he liked men, but he never imagined he would end up falling for the crown prince he'd picked up, and willingly plunge into it himself... After meeting Mu Jingchuang, Xia Minglian felt that the carefree, (pretend) unruffled, (pretend) composed, (pretend) aloof persona he'd maintained for over twenty years had been tossed into outer space.

[The (pseudo) past life] Military strategist: "Our world is full of all kinds of regrets. All sorts of people pass through our lives, only to say they're sorry. Mu Jingchuang, I'm sorry I can't stay with you until the end."

Crown prince: "Xia Minglian, wait for me, okay...?"

[This life] Mu Jingchuang: "Master Strategist, everyone says we're made for each other! So, what kind of ring do you like? I think the one I designed is pretty good. Where should we have our wedding? How about the park in the central district? Should it be a big wedding or a small one? Let's make it big. I've got money. Where do you want to go for our honeymoon...?"

Xia Minglian: "Your Highness, give it a rest..."

An outwardly innocent but actually scheming top X a bottom pretending to be aloof.

One-on-one romance, with a past-life-and-present-life trope. Both the top and the bottom are vampires.

The past life has a tiny bit of angst, just a tiny bit.

Set in a world where same-sex marriage is legal. Yeah, there's not much showbiz stuff.

PS: I've made up some of the vampire lore. The outline and plot for this story, "Sunrise" (that's what I like to call it), are already done. I just need to fill in the details. Really, believe me.

PPS: Mu Jingchuang is the top, and Xia Minglian is the bottom. Raise the Curtain Banner high! No breaking them up and no reversing their roles. (｡∩ω∩｡)

PPPS: I currently have zero chapters written ahead (don't hit me). The outline and plot are handwritten and I haven't typed them up yet. Plus I'm kind of lazy, and, well... so those of you who can wait, please do. If you can't, that's okay too. (っ﹏-)

PPPS: Really, this is the last PS. (*￣3￣)╭ "Sunrise" is the first story I've written entirely on my own. The world, the background, and the environment the main characters live in are all pretty big in scope (at least for a newly adult kid like me). My own worldbuilding isn't solid yet, and I don't know enough, so some of the logic or common sense might be off. Please don't yell at me if that happens. You read stories because you enjoy them, and I write because I enjoy it too. If you make me so upset that something happens to me, I'll float over to your house tonight to pay you a visit. If you really want to insult me, pay up: ten million for each insult. (งಠヘಠ)ง
