[Showbiz] I Petted the Star's Kitten

[Jumping on the trend / Failed at the premise, enter at your own risk. In my opinion, the best part of the whole story is the bonus chapter.] Shen Yi is a little-known singer who gets invited to all kinds of music variety shows year after year on the strength of his voice. But without fame or connections, he's always cast as the first-round sacrificial lamb. So even when he's invited to this season's hottest and most star-studded music variety show, Starbound Selection, he can't get too excited. Shen Yi never expected that the first time he would escape a first-round elimination would be thanks to a soft, fluffy kitten. He also never expected that his first-ever powerful backer would be Song Yan: a superstar singer who debuted at fifteen and has been famous for fifteen years, the biggest name on Starbound Selection, a real heavyweight, and the top celebrity everyone wants to ride on the coattails of. . In Song Yan's eyes, anyone who would save a kitten must be a decent person. And since Shen Yi has talent, he doesn't mind giving him a hand on the show. But Song Yan soon discovers that Shen Yi is much more than "decent." He's... so cute that Song Yan wants to do something he shouldn't. -- "Is petting cats that fun?" Song Yan asks, plucking a few notes on his guitar. Shen Yi furiously pets Song Yan's ragdoll cat, trying to get the kitten to bob its head along to Teacher Song's tune. "Of course it's fun to touch cute things. You can even get addicted..." Shen Yi says. Before he can finish, Song Yan's hand lightly lands on Shen Yi's head and ruffles his hair. He pauses, then does it again. "You're right," Song Yan says. 1. Little singer x superstar. Modern urban setting. Cat-petting. 1v1 HE. 2. No real-life inspirations.
