This is a story set in an alternate history. The heroine, Lin Yuer, transmigrates to ancient times and becomes the unloved third young lady of the Lin residence. Her everyday life in the past doesn't seem all that unusual: she deals with troublesome relatives and uses the little modern knowledge she has to make a name for herself in the ancient world. Now and then, she cooks delicious food. The story follows the Lin family and the goings-on in the capital. With her intelligence and hard work, she leaves her mark on this era and builds a world of her own. As she lives life to the fullest, love comes her way, too.
