Thanks to @HugoIsParisObsessed for making the cover for me. Love you, sis!

Blurb 1:

Mao Jinxu, a descendant of a long line of zombie-hunting Taoist masters, lives up to the family legacy and becomes a Heavenly Master.

But there are no zombies in modern society, and despite all her special skills, Mao Jinxu is still dirt poor.

One day, she drinks her sorrows away at a friend's bar and drunkenly spends the night with a woman. The next day, that woman offers to rent her a room for free, on one condition:

On every full moon, she has to sleep while holding her!

Mao Jinxu: I really want to know why, but... Landlady, you're right about everything!

After moving in together, they can't stand each other. Mao Jinxu thinks Yan Youjun is arrogant and looks down on people; Yan Youjun thinks Mao Jinxu has nothing but a pretty face.

The first full moon...

Mao Jinxu: Don't get handsy! If you do, I'll chop you up!

Yan Youjun: Oh.

The Nth full moon...

Mao Jinxu: Can't you be a little bolder, you block of wood?!

Yan Youjun: Who was crying and begging me to stop last time?

Mao Jinxu: Oh.

I take it all back.

Mao Jinxu only learns later that Yan Youjun is the King of the Underworld in the Nine Hells.

Mao Jinxu points at the marks on her body and laughs bitterly. "Are all people from the Underworld this beastly?"

Yan Youjun, her legs weak, sneers. "You're no better."

Blurb 2:

If you believe human nature is noble, then you should also believe it is dark.

It's a two-sided mirror. You can't accept only the good while refusing to face the bad. Otherwise, you'll never be able to make peace with certain things.

Ghosts aren't scary. The human heart is.

So this is the story of a short-tempered Heavenly Master who slays demons and vanquishes evil while winning a beauty's heart.

Reader's guide:

1. The plot gets pretty wild, with all kinds of supernatural shenanigans.

2. Plenty of plot and romance!

3. No hiatus, happy ending!

4. Both take turns as the top.
