I Became a Clown Too Early [Western Crossover]

Arthur is a demon born of chaos. As he lies on the brink of death, he gets bound to a System.

The System requires him to play the Joker. In return, he can survive in that world.

It's just that the System seems to have gotten the time of his transmigration wrong.

Looking at his battered body, with short arms and legs, and then at Bruce, who is sobbing over the loss of his parents, Arthur falls silent. Bruce Wayne, future Batman.

--He was supposed to play the Joker, but what is he supposed to do when he's only eight?

--He just arrived and witnessed a murder in an alley. Should he talk to his future nemesis or not?

--The main story has finally begun, but why does his nemesis seem to look at him differently?

In the end, Arthur gets eaten and is left utterly confused.

Wasn't he supposed to play the Joker?

How did things end up like this?

Warning: The characters are extremely out of character! The timeline is a mess! Arthur's morals are warped! The author's writing is childish, so please don't flame me if it's not to your taste.
