Yongzheng's first empress was the daughter of Fei Yanggu, a senior court official. Gentle and respectful by nature, she was named the principal consort of Prince Yong by Emperor Kangxi, and later became empress. Her posthumous title was Empress Xiaojing Gonghe Yishun Zhaohui Zhuangsu Ankang Zuotian Yisheng Xian. Posterity knows her as Empress Xiaojing Xian.
These few brief words are all that history remembers of the Ula Nara clan.
