Seventh Young Master, How About We Call Off the Engagement?

Wang Qimiu, the seventh son of the Langya Wang clan, was handsome, refined, cultured, and talented. Every unmarried young woman in the capital was smitten with him.

Yet this outstanding young man had been betrothed early on to He Yun, the third daughter of the He family, who had ordinary talents and passable looks.

From then on, He Yun became the bane of every young woman's existence in the capital.

When the He family lost its power, He Yun became a toad in everyone's eyes, one who dared to dream of eating swan meat.

He Yun knew she was unworthy of Wang Qilang. If she married him, he surely wouldn't like her, so she planned to break off the engagement and let him find the capital's most talented woman, its most beautiful woman, or his childhood sweetheart, the cousin he had grown up with.

When he heard that He Yun wanted to break off their engagement, Wang Qi's handsome face darkened. "If anyone is going to break off this engagement, it'll be me. What makes you think you can do it?"

He Yun thought about it and realized he had a point. Someone as proud as Wang Qilang could never tolerate being jilted.

"Then... why don't you break it off?" she suggested.

"Just wait at home." With that, he swept out.

He Yun waited and waited at home, but what finally arrived was the Wang family's bridal sedan.

Only after marrying into the Wang family did He Yun realize she'd fallen into a pot of honey...
