How to Catch a Wild Zhuge Liang

[This story will go premium on January 5. Check out my upcoming stories: A Boring World with Only Poets and Unifying the Three Kingdoms with Card Draws] * Prosperous Era Online: Open Beta Log Monday, sunny. The neighbor invited me over, and I found the bard who stole my wine. Tuesday, east wind. Weeding, humming a song. A passing fire mage said I sang Ode to Joy one note off. I'll remember that. Wednesday. The Dragon-Seeking Expedition came to find me for the third time, but I really don't know where the dragon is. Thursday, thunderstorm. Cao the Boss came to take shelter from the rain and gave me a box of perfume as a thank-you gift. Is he trying to sell me something? Friday. Took in a vagrant. He said he'd lost a guild war and had nowhere else to go. Saturday. Took in another vagrant. He said he'd won a guild war, got kicked out, and had nowhere to go. Sunday. Nothing to do, so I'll look into a strategy guide for the hidden dungeon's final boss, Zulong. Recorded by player Zhuge Liang. * ※ Zhuge Liang-centric, everyone loves him ※ Shamelessly pairing characters up ※ Fictional online game setting Historical fanfiction, not a true account of history. Treat it as fiction, don't nitpick, and just enjoy the ride. My own take on the characters; the adapted versions aren't the same as their historical counterparts ( ** Upcoming story: A Boring World with Only Poets After his death, Kongming's soul awoke in another world. A group of people were enthusiastically discussing poetry and literature, but for some reason, it all sounded strange to him. “I finished memorizing Li Sao, and Qu Yuan was so moved he gave me an A rating. I'm going to be a literary great someday, right?” “Awesome, awesome!” “The Three Kingdoms version is here! I've already topped up my account. How do I get the Chancellor?” “Longzhong Plan, please.” Then they noticed him and greeted him warmly. Player A: New here? I've been camping outside the Wuhou Shrine for a week. Player B: Buddy, same here. Kongming: I don't know what everyone's doing, but this is so boring. Maybe I'll camp here for a while too? Player C: It wasn't until much later that I realized there was a traitor in our group... He thought this world was too boring, so he actually called on us to become grind addicts! ...But it's Chancellor Zhuge we're talking about! Who could refuse? Theme: Keep your feet on the ground, aim high, and care about the world.
