Summer Slumber

Summer Slumber

One-line blurb: Xia Chenmian raised Yu Jin for four years, never expecting to raise a little wolf who would dare to defy her.

"I love you, naturally and without question."

I slumber in a summer hallucination, waiting for the stars to fall and bring my dream to an end.

I want the galaxy to come crashing down.

I want life to burn with passion.

I want to gather summer in my arms and hold it close.

"So, President Xia, if you could go back to college, and other factors weren't an issue, would you choose a different major?" Xia Chenmian had returned to her school to give a talk. During the student Q&A, she heard this question.

Xia Chenmian looked at the student who had asked, her voice gentle. "If I could choose, I'd study astronomy."

"Why?" the student asked, looking pleased, as if satisfied with her answer.

Xia Chenmian smiled and made up an answer on the spot. "I like the stars, I suppose."

But in her heart, she had a real answer:

Because the person I love is there.

Xia Chenmian and Yu Jin

A female CEO who's hard to tell whether she's gentle or cold, and a younger astronomy student who seems to have no manners at all

Notes:

1. There's a tiny bit of the entertainment industry, all made up.

2. There's a tiny bit of business, completely illogical.

3. There's a tiny bit of love. Just kidding.

Theme: I want to gather summer in my arms and hold it close.
