This is an unconventional Wuxia mystery and food story, a real everything-in-the-pot kind of tale...
It's set in an alternate history. Please don't dwell on the strange things that appear or the fact that objects and dynasties from different eras have ended up together. Thank you.
The following isn't a synopsis, but the original idea that inspired this story. As for all the other strange things that got added, even I don't know what they are.
As the leader of a band of river pirates, Zhou Ziheng wanted to expand her business, so she decided to pay a visit to the bandits on the neighboring mountain.
Halfway up, she came across the bandits robbing a young woman. Zhou Ziheng took on three bandits alone and beat them, rescued the woman, who was out searching for a relative, and escorted her into town. Then she went back to expanding her business.
When the Qixi Festival arrived, Zhou Ziheng went into town hoping to pick up a handsome husband. Instead, she rescued the same woman again.
It was hard to pick up a husband in town, so Zhou Ziheng decided to look among the passing boats. She came across a wedding boat, and there was the woman again, wearing a bridal gown and crying.
Third time's the charm. This was fate, sent by heaven, so in the end Zhou Ziheng brought the woman home to be her pirate wife.
Pairing 1: A powerful river-pirate leader and a skilled cook
Pairing 2: A prefect and an older sister she thinks shares her mother but has no blood relation to her
Premise: Lighthearted and fun.
Which of them will be enlightened first?
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
It's late, congratulations on Kaiwen!
If you like food articles, cheers for the author (???_??)?
