Anya Forger is a telepath. Every day, she hears the two thoughts her handsome, smooth-talking spy dad never stops repeating:

First: He hopes Anya and Damian will get along and become best friends.

But Anya thinks Damian is a jerk. He never says anything nice, and he always has a sour look on his face.

Second: He hopes Anya will become the best student in the whole school.

But Anya doesn't like reciting the stuffy poem "Spring slumber, unaware of dawn; mosquitoes bite me everywhere." She doesn't like singing the song of the twenty-six letters of the alphabet, either, and she likes memorizing the multiplication tables even less.

Those are all things her jerk, Damian, likes best.

3. The main focus is Anya and Master Damian (the second son, my Second Son x Anya pairing). Yor and Twilight are the secondary couple. I love Mom and Dad so much.

4. The story follows Anya from elementary school through high school, and possibly college. The plan is to focus on high school, so this is a school story.

5. Think of it as a parallel universe.

6. Since the second son's older brother and Mom have already appeared in the original anime, I've kept their original names, but their characterizations are unchanged here. Bond the dog probably won't appear.
