The Protagonist Top Fell for Me

Blurb:

Lu Shixie is bound by the unscrupulous System 818, which orders him to enter every world and play an adorable cannon fodder character.

These roles include a young master who can't bring himself to confess his feelings, a young lord who never stops helping the leads get together, and more...

Sometimes he's cannon fodder on the top's side, sometimes he's simply part of the protagonist's friends and family, and sometimes he's a troublesome cannon fodder who clashes with the protagonist's side to the bitter end.

Lu Shixie's goal in transmigrating, of course, is to move the plot along, bring the protagonist top and protagonist bottom together as soon as possible, and fulfill System 818's beautiful vision of world harmony.

But he slowly realizes there's a problem: Compared to the protagonist bottom, the protagonist top seems much more interested in him.

Lu Shixie transmigrates once again. This time, to complete his mission of bringing the protagonist top and protagonist bottom together, he specifically chooses to enter the world after they've already met.

He thinks he's got this in the bag, absolutely secure. Even 818 is full of praise.

But then

The handsome man, tall and imposing, strides up to him and drops to one knee.

"Shixie, give me a chance."

Content warnings:

1. Top-focused, 1v1 romance, weak top and strong bottom. The top is doted on by everyone, and there's no harem. The original "protagonist top" lies flat for love in both senses of the phrase (both transmigrated).

2. System 818 is part of the protagonist's circle of friends. Two rookie transmigrators work hard to help each other succeed → resolve not to let their cabbage get plucked → What's wrong with my cabbage plucking someone? That's only natural!

3. The top's missions cannot fail, and falling in love with the "protagonist top" still promotes world harmony. Basically, it's a lighthearted romance with a focus on working hard at the missions.
