"Shen Chuwen... Do you have a heart?"
Ye Ci knelt on the floor, staring blankly as he murmured.
Shen Chuwen smiled gently. That smile pierced Ye Ci's heart, making it ache as if it had been cut by a knife.
"Do I? Maybe." He looked gently at Ye Ci, who knelt on the floor looking rather disheveled. "A-Ci, get up. The floor is cold." Ye Ci smiled bitterly. Gazing at Shen Chuwen's handsome face, he stared at him as if his soul had left his body. "Your tenderness disgusts me. But what disgusts me even more is that I crave your fake tenderness."
At some point, I realized that the tenderness you showed everyone was fake. I never said anything, because I knew it was a mask you wore to protect yourself.
I fell in love with your tenderness as if I were addicted to a drug. I tried to quit, but it was all in vain. I refused to believe it, and used outside help to bury my memories deep in my mind. Shen Chuwen, I'm tired. Because the only person in this world who was ever kind to me died five years ago.
It all began with a bag of dried mangoes...
