After Dumping the Disabled Tyrant, I Traveled Back Again

After Qi Rong was in a car accident, he got a System.

Under the System's arrangements, he entered another plane to help a prince named Huo Yan ascend the throne.

Though Huo Yan was a prince, he suffered from a serious illness, was solitary and eccentric, had no maternal family to rely on, and was deeply disliked by the emperor. Becoming emperor seemed nearly impossible.

Fortunately, Qi Rong had the System's help. He successfully approached Huo Yan, cared for him and taught him with great attention, gradually setting straight this crooked little sapling, and ultimately helped him ascend the throne.

After completing his mission, Qi Rong retired from service and returned to his own world.

Six years later, he accidentally fell off a cliff. When he opened his eyes, he was back in the Kingdom of Yu.

The little emperor he had watched grow up, and knew so well, had become a grown emperor. He sat by Qi Rong's bed, looking at him with boundless kindness.

"Rong'er, why don't you do another magic trick for me?"

Qi Rong glanced at the silver chain fastened around his wrist: ...

What happened? The little emperor he knew wasn't like this!

No one in the world truly loved Huo Yan. People respected him, feared him, and flattered him, but no one loved him. Huo Yan didn't care, as long as that person loved him.

But later, he discovered that person didn't love him either.

There was only one thing Huo Yan ever asked of that person: never leave him, even in death.

That person smiled and agreed, then vanished without a trace. Huo Yan searched every inch of the land, but could never find him.

His hatred was so fierce that he vomited blood, vowing that if they ever met again, he would forge a golden cage and imprison him by his side for all eternity.

Premise: None.
