He only meant to scare her, but when he looks up, he sees the little mermaid's eyes turn red as she bursts into tears, pearls dropping one by one. She's remembered everything. This isn't the second time she's been hauled out of the sea, it's the third. This man has tricked her twice.

Sigh. She fell in love on her own, so he'll just have to drag her back.
