The Detective's Blade (Demon Slayer)

One day, I opened my eyes.

In front of me were dark brown wooden boards, a house where gravity seemed to work in reverse, and a beautiful woman in a kimono leaning against the doorframe, watching me coldly with plum-red eyes.

Seeing her reminded me that her name was Kibutsuji Muzan. I had come here to investigate the mystery of “the famous shonen manga artist Crocodile-sensei receiving two huge boxes of knives in the middle of the night.” And my name is Qianhong Xiao. Qianhong Xiao doesn't have a surname, that's right! I'm a... detective!

The next moment, the woman named Kibutsuji Muzan glared at me, her expression dark. When she spoke, her voice was low and magnetic, unmistakably male. “Upper Moon Five, Qianhong Xiao. How much longer are you planning to lie on the ground?”

I stared up at him, utterly confused. Around me, one person with six eyes on his face was staring at me; another had tattoos all over and a punkish pink hairstyle; an old man in the corner was muttering to himself; and there was a headless corpse holding a head with glittering, sparkly Mary Sue eyes. The head smiled at me.

Douma: Hey.

Me: Dead.

1. This is mainly a Demon Slayer story, with a little bit of ID: Invaded and various other things mixed in. It won't affect your reading, and I'll explain the technical terms!

2. This story isn't contracted. I'm writing it for love.

3. It's a wish-fulfillment story where misery and suffering go hand in hand with showing off and overpowered cheats. That's right, as is customary, this is a self-indulgent fanfic!

4. This story could also be called Inception Within Inception Within Inception (laughs).

5. This isn't a typical mystery, and I'm bad at research, so please go easy on me.

Theme: Redemption.
