This is (probably) a little sweet romance dressed up as domineering possessiveness. There will always be room for something sweet.

Ning Jingxiu had always believed her elder brother, Ning Shi, was the best brother in the world. He truly cared for her, accepted her, and doted on her.

But one day, his kindness changed.

“You want to marry him? Then I'll break his legs!”

Only then did she realize he was a dark, obsessive man.

His love meant that she had to belong to him completely. Otherwise, he would never let her go, even in death.

“Little sister, I dote on you and protect you so much, yet you want to leave me. Then I'll just have to keep you by my side.”

She collapsed to the ground. He was dressed in imperial robes, crouching in front of her as he gently caressed her face. “Little sister, I'll give you this whole empire. What do you say?”

His lips were cold, his touch domineering enough to sink into her bones and blood, leaving her unable to move.

His love was pure and domineering, suffocating her.

I came up with this story while writing Marrying the Powerful Man's Young Stepmother. The characters are a little related, but the plots are different.
