The Moon Entwined in Mist [Rekindled Love]

[Broken Relationship Repaired / Mutual Salvation / Brothers Competing for the Same Woman]

★ Black-hearted top student × sweet, sunny girl

1. In high school, Lu Jinyue was a well-behaved student who followed the rules and went unnoticed.

Her one and only act of rebellion was sneaking away to a temple during a school outing to ask whether her secret crush would ever lead anywhere.

Before she could finish, Lin Qiheng, a boy from her class, caught her in the act.

Lin Qiheng was handsome, excelled in his studies, and came from an exceptionally prominent family.

Though he was easygoing and approachable, he was an outstanding young man she didn't dare get close to.

On top of that, he was the younger brother of the person she had a crush on.

But he took the initiative and came over to her, his gentle smile especially bewitching.

Lost in his beautiful eyes, she heard him ask, "You like him. Want me to help you?"

Lu Jinyue looked up at the boy standing so close and, for some inexplicable reason, nodded.

2. Lin Qiheng had never known love or warmth, and was used to keeping his true feelings buried deep.

He had deliberately approached Lu Jinyue, never expecting to grow possessive of her.

When he learned that his brother and she had feelings for each other, he stopped Lin Yiyun from confessing and told him, "I'm sorry, but the person she likes is me."

In the end, Lin Qiheng got what he wanted and became her boyfriend.

They promised to stay together forever, but she was the one who asked to break up first.

3. Many years later, Lin Yiyun and Lu Jinyue met again and decided, without warning, to get engaged.

When Lin Qiheng heard the news, he was holding a charity art exhibition and immediately rushed over.

By then, Lu Jinyue was already a little drunk and was heading toward a quiet, empty corridor.

Lin Qiheng caught her in his arms as she stumbled, but she pushed him away in resistance.

He bent down slightly, letting his warm breath brush her neck, as if he were about to kiss her.

"You think it's all over, don't you? But for me, everything has only just begun."

Lu Jinyue's breathing suddenly grew unsteady.

[He promised they would be together forever. Now he had come to make good on that promise.]
