The hot-tempered silver-haired Italian-Japanese transfer student stood with his hands in his pockets, staring wordlessly at Amu, who was only figuring it out now. Reborn looked at Amu, tilted his head cutely, and said, "Reborn doesn't know anything," then closed his eyes and began snoring.
Amu faded into a black-and-white stick figure. She blinked blankly, doubled over in despair, and sank into the shadows.
So her middle school life had actually been surrounded by, by, by... the mafia?!

The author cares more about the good qualities Amu shows herself, such as her friendship with Yua, her relationship with Utau, and helping girls out of trouble.
