Lots of people will like him, but Xiao Li loves no one but himself. 3. Later on, he'll take on an alien form. Yes, the evil god form with a bunch of tentacles. Don't be afraid. See the author's page: The Ambitious Man's Self-Cultivation Blurb: Mo Xuanyu's family is very wealthy. As the youngest child, with black hair, blue eyes, and exceptionally fair, beautiful features, he's also one of the world's rarest healers. He thought he had a happy family, until the company was on the brink of bankruptcy after a major scandal. A representative of the powerful conglomerate controlled by Yan Geng announced that they would provide a bailout, but only if Mo Xuanyu married him. After the news broke, the people in Mo Xuanyu's family threatened and warned him not to turn Yan Geng down, saying it was for the sake of the family and the company. Mo Xuanyu simply watched them in silence. Something vanished from his beautiful azure eyes. On the day of their engagement, his childhood sweetheart Yan Geng looked at him tenderly. "I'm sorry, Xuanyu. I know you don't love me, so this was the only way to keep you by my side forever." He expected Mo Xuanyu to gradually give in after getting angry, but Mo Xuanyu only looked at him in disappointment and said calmly: "Do you really expect me to play along with your domineering-love-story fantasy? Then you're going to be disappointed..." As Yan Geng watched in growing regret and madness, Mo Xuanyu disappeared before his eyes. [Welcome to Sacred Geometry, Chosen One.] All around him was darkness, with only these words giving off a faint glow. Mo Xuanyu had never longed for love. He longed for power, strength, and the ability to control his own fate. After being bound to Sacred Geometry, he has to keep walking the line between life and death, competing and fighting with countless other Chosen Ones. This is a playground for the ambitious and a paradise for the strong. Mo Xuanyu gently runs his fingers over the blade in his hand, no longer holding back his desire. An initial divine essence represents the core talent of every Chosen One, and is usually golden. Mo Xuanyu assumed that, as a healer, his would surely be a dazzling gold. But after awakening it, he stares in confusion at the pitch-black little thing in his hand. Oh, so I'm an evil god in the making? Am I really that bad? After his divine essence awakens, Mo Xuanyu discovers that his ability has changed. His profound, pitch-black mental power is highly corruptive, and his ability is called... "Dominion." Dominion (S-Rank): Anyone who wholeheartedly submits to you or signs a contract with you will be subject to your dominion. You can issue them any command and, to a certain extent, alter their memories and perceptions without them noticing. Special Effect: After dominating a target, you can select and replicate one of their special talents or skills. ...Take back what I said before. He's pretty bad after all :) ---Bonus Scene--- 1. During a world-conquest battle, the second-in-command of a top Chosen Ones guild is betrayed by his subordinates. He kills his attackers, but is gravely wounded himself. Blood pours from his vicious wounds. He's certain to die here. "A stray dog with nowhere to go? How pitiful." A figure suddenly appears before him. The person looks down at him, blue eyes calm and compassionate, one hand extended. The dust of dawn makes him look as holy as Jesus. "Want to be my dog? Say no, or bark." Theme: When you face the truth of the world, hold firmly to your faith.
